With over eighteen years experience in Commercial Real Estate, Mark has extensive transaction experience and is part of C&W’s Sustainability Practice Group. The traditional tenant representation services model has evolved to account for an understanding and evaluation of the costs/benefits of buildings designed with green or LEED high performance features.
The evaluation of a buildings level of sustainability through qualitative and quantitative measurement of various design features allows for clients to make better decisions that are directly related to the latest corporate sustainability reporting guidelines for Canada. This new decision model includes a cost benefit assessment for reduced operating costs through tenant’s capital costs as well as clearly understanding various design features promoting increased productivity and decreased absenteeism.
