Shields + Associates

Located in Toronto, Shields + Associates is made up of ARIDO Registered and member designers with a BCIN registration required for obtaining building permits.

We are located in downtown Toronto, recently having moved from our fabulous old factory warehouse location of 276 Carlaw Avenue to a young new Art & Technology Hub at 130 Queens Quay East.

Incorporated in 1996, Shields + Associates has completed condominium and commercial high-rise renovations including corridors, lobbies, security desks, entrance systems, fitness facilities, pools, change rooms, party rooms and other amenities areas.

We have prepared designs and specifications, budgets, permit applications, construction drawings and project coordination to final completion. On behalf of Boards we often present our design work at resident meetings and oversee the construction coordination process after awarding bids which include paperwork such as WSIB, Insurance, Notice of Project, Project Schedules, Certificates for Payment, and final Deficiency Lists.

Our services also include procurement of signage, furniture, art & accessories. We can also complete site & furniture inventories, reconfigurations, move coordination, purchasing assistance and final installation supervision.
