That vision, coupled with a strong engineering background and a commitment to innovation, led Sobotec to become the first company worldwide to design and develop a Rainscreen Wall Panel System (SL-2000) for the metal composite material (MCM) ALUCOBOND®.

Sobotec’s innovation transformed the industry with the SL-2000 system being quickly adopted by architects and widely expanding the use of MCM material all across North America.
